About the Founder

Hi, I’m Mitchell Rosenberg; founder, formulator, and lifelong beard-haver. I’ve called Manitou Springs, Colorado home since 2015, and this brand was born right here in the shadow of Pikes Peak. Before starting this company, I worked as a professional zookeeper for over a decade, which meant long, messy days and zero room for fussy grooming routines. I needed beard care that held up to hard work, smelled great, and didn’t leave my face feeling greasy or caked in chemicals. When I couldn’t find it, I started making my own.

Inspiration and Product Philosophy

For years, I searched for beard care products that struck the right balance; something that worked hard, felt clean, smelled great, and didn’t leave me feeling like I dipped my chin in cologne or wax. After trying just about everything on the market, I realized that what I was looking for didn’t exist, so I started making it myself.

Every product I create is handcrafted in small batches right here in Manitou Springs, with a focus on clean, natural ingredients that nourish the beard and skin without harsh chemicals or fillers. I draw inspiration from the rugged outdoors and my own experience working messy, hands-on jobs where looking good shouldn’t come at the cost of practicality. Scents are subtle, earthy, and designed to complement your day, not overpower it. My goal is simple: to make reliable, well-crafted grooming essentials that hold up to real life.
